Welcoming BINUSIAN 2024 in the First Year Program

BINUS International, including the International Business and Business Management & Marketing programs which are parts of BINUS Business School – International Undergraduate Program, is currently conducting the First Year Program (FYP) for BINUSIAN 2024. Held online via ZOOM Cloud Meetings from 26 August until the end of September 2020, the FYP is a program that was designed to welcome the new students and further introduces them to BINUS, including the curriculum and study method, as well as its vision, mission, and values.

The FYP was opened by the Welcoming Speech and Introduction to BINUS University and BINUSIAN Values session by Win Ce, S.Kom., MM (BINUS @Senayan Campus Director). In this session, Win Ce introduce the BINUS University 2035 Vision; A World-class university, fostering and empowering the society in building and serving the nation. He also explained the missions to achieve that goal; educating BINUSIANs to develop exemplary characters through a holistic approach that meets global standards, resolving the nation’s issues through high impact research, fostering BINUSIANs as lifelong learners through self-enrichment, empowering BINUSIANs to continuously improve society’s quality of life, and being the main driver to enrich the BINUS Higher Education system.

The first-year students are also introduced to BINUSIAN Values known as SPIRIT. SPIRIT consists of Striving for Excellence, Perseverance, Integrity, Respect, Innovation, and Teamwork. Furthermore, they also got a deeper understanding of each program in BINUS International and BINUS Northumbria School of Design, as well as got to meet the faculty members in this session.

During the First Year Program, the first-year students will take part in various inspiring and exciting activities such as webinars, workshops, program introductions, student club expo, and many more.

“Grow with us. That is always the core when you are in university. It is not a preparation to life, it is life. You have to enjoy your time in the university, that you know that it is the time for you to prepare yourselves,” Win Ce concluded.
