Wang Qiwei bekerja di bidang manajemen perusahaan Cina cabang Indonesia. Selama tiga tahun berkarier di Indonesia, ia memperoleh banyak pengalaman profesional yang berharga, mulai dari pengambilan keputusan strategis, pengelolaan tim, hingga komunikasi organisasi yang harus disesuaikan dengan konteks lokal.
Dari situlah Qiwei menyadari bahwa pengalaman saja belumlah cukup. ia juga harus mengimbanginya dengan pemahaman manajerial yang lebih relevan dengan perkembangan bisnis global. Akhirnya, muncullah keinginan untuk mengembangkan diri melalui kuliah pascasarjana.

Wang Qiwei, a 45-year-old expatriate from China, believes that there’s no such thing as being too late to learn. As a result, he decided to continue his studies in the Master of Management program at BINUS Business School.

Wang Qiwei works in corporate management at the Indonesian branch of a Chinese company. Over three years of building his career in Indonesia, he’s gained a wealth of valuable professional experience, ranging from strategic decision-making and team management to organizational communication that had to be adapted to the local context.
From this experience, Qiwei realized that professional exposure alone was not enough. It needed to be balanced with a stronger managerial foundation that was relevant to the dynamics of global business. This realization ultimately prompted him to pursue a Master of Management (MM) program.

For Qiwei, returning to university was not an easy decision. At 45, he often doubted his ability to complete a postgraduate program.
