Design Thinking as a Strategy for Innovation
Course Description
Design thinking is one way to initiate creativity and “out-of-the-box” ideas that can be implemented in business decision making or product/service development, and it has been implemented successfully by different businesses.
With an increasing awareness of social issues and an increase in growth of business, there is a need to have a creative approach to generate innovation. This course will focus on using a design thinking technique to create social innovation and will encourage the participants to step out of their regular comfort zone into a more adventurous venture in social innovation.
Course Objectives
This course endeavors to explain and apply design thinking and integrative thinking approaches in creating innovation as well as to construct a prototype using the design thinking process.
Course Details
The course will be held for two days with 80% practice and discussion and 20% lectures.
Who should attend?
This course is for Brand Managers, Marketing Managers, Social Entrepreneurs, Government Officials, and Non-Profit Organization Employees. Maximum 10 persons per class.
