On January, 16th, 2020 I had the honor to speak in front of 70 female students of Binus School Bekasi discussing High Risk Behaviors Among Teenagers: Choices They Shouldn’t Make. Focusing on the topic of the danger of ‘Sexting,’ we discussed the importance of choosing your circles wisely as well as learning of risk and consequences of digital footprint; That said, being mindful of what you post, what you share, and reshare is very crucial. As they understand they are susceptible for information they received from their friends, choosing the right circle of friends and who they listen to is prominent, as it determines their action. Though the seminar was held in a casual method, it was very interactive and engaging, the students understood the significance of the subject as they learned four takeaways:
