A new module for one of our core course Business in Indonesia was launched last month.

The module is designed to support the Business in Indonesia course code number BUSS6029. As business in Indonesia has developed in the last 20 years, many of the references ought to be updated due to the current growth. Current issues in Indonesian business are included for students to gain understanding of the realities within the business sector. The module consists of the macro- and micro- perspectives of the Indonesian business environment. Thus, this module assists students in learning about Indonesian current business developments and how to run a business in Indonesia.

The updated version 1.1 are added and compiled by Dr. Marko S Hermawan, Dr. M. Ikhsan Modjo, and Ubaidillah Nugraha MPM. The additional materials added are section 1, Chapter I. Indonesia as a leading economy growth country, Chapter II. Corruption in Indonesia; and introduction, , Chapter III. Mapping Indonesia’s Industrial Sectors. In section 2, we include some references for Chapter IV. Part C. Ethical Business Culture in Indonesia, Chapter V. Human Resource Management in Indonesia, and Chapter VI. A Snapshot of Indonesian Entrepreneurship and SME Development.

We welcome suggestion, critiques and comments in order to improve the quality and updated information of the content. We eventually will publish the final version as a reference for a greater impact within the society.
