Profile

Jalal has a Ph.D. degree in Marketing from UiT – The arctic university of Norway, and an M.Sc. from the same university. He also has an MBA from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. He combines excellent academic and practical skills, with particular interests in teaching others to improve their individual knowledge; he is enthusiastic in utilizing a range of techniques and methodologies in order to provide effective tuition in accordance with student requirements. Jalal is highly adaptable to multicultural and multilingual working environments, due to his international background, having lived/studied/worked in Bangladesh, South Korea, Vietnam, the Netherlands, Norway and Indonesia.

Research Interests

His research interests are international and cross-cultural marketing, and export-import relationships. His research interests include B2B marketing, relationship marketing, quantitative research methods, consumer behaviour, pedagogy and entrepreneurship.
