Preface

Amid increasingly fierce competition and rapid changes, especially in the field of technology and target markets, bankers not only need technical skills, but also capabilities in almost all area of soft skills so that the bank they lead can survive. The strengths and abilities of Branch Managers and Relationship Managers who must fight on the front lines are required to have capabilities beyond just maintaining customers. They must also be able to anticipate changes that occur by having the sharpness to identify opportunities and threats that not only come from direct competition between banks, but also developments in technology that will have an impact on the performance of a bank as a whole.

OBJECTIVES

Background CISA® (Certified Information Systems Auditor) is an international designation for IS (Information Systems) audit, control and security professionals, issued by the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) in 1978. Holding the CISA® designation helps assure a positive reputation as a qualified IS audit, control and assurance and/or security professionals. Whether to enhance the on-the-job performance or to secure a promotion or new position, becoming a CISA® will distinguish its holder from other candidates and provide a competitive advantage. To hold the CISA® designation, candidates are required to successfully complete the CISA® examination. The CISA® examination is administrated in more than 188 countries, including Indonesia. Exam registration is continuous, meaning, candidates can register any time, no restrictions. Candidates can schedule a testing appointment as early as 48 hours after payment of exam registration fees. The CISA® examination consists of 150 multiple-choice questions and is administrated during a four-hour session. OBJECTIVES

There are a lot of financial and operational problems occurred lately because of the vulnerability of the companies’ risk management. It is very significant that we understand that proper risk management can prevent many unwanted disasters. Financial Risk Academy is a prestigious professional designation for professionals that are involved in financial and risk management. The assessment Examination is conducted once a year every November and is held all over the world by GARP (Global Association of Risk Professionals) at the same time. FRM® is considered as a global benchmark for risk management skills. FRM® Examination was first conducted in on 1997. OBJECTIVES

Financial Analyst Academy is a prestigious professional designation for finance and investment analysts. The examination is conducted once a year every June for Level 2 & 3 exams and twice a year in June and December for Level 1 exams and is facilitated simultaneously worldwide by the CFA® INSTITUTE. The rapid growth in the investment and financial worlds has spurred the need to create a standard which investors and employers to rely when dealing with investment and financial professionals. The need for this standard has stimulated the growth in the number of CFA® participants since the CFA® program is known for its high standards for course content, integrity, and professionalism. CFA® standards are recognized internationally. There are many MBA programs and business schools, but there is only one CFA® designation. Some of the organizations that employ CFA® Charter holders are investment and management companies, consulting companies, investment bankers, insurance, pension funds, banks and other financial institutions. The demand for CFA® Charter holders is significantly high; in contrast, there are only 100 CFA® Charter holders in Indonesia. There are a number of multinational companies that require at least CFA® Level 1 as a prerequisite for employment for certain professions. The development of the CFA® Program has been exponential – There are currently 82,000 CFA® Charter holders worldwide. In the United States, the CFA® charter has earned its prestige on the strength of its practical approach and thorough testing on the subject areas covered. Administered for the first time in 1963, the CFA® designation is awarded by the CFA® INSTITUTE, and given to the professionals that fulfill these requirements:
  • Passed three exam levels (6 hours per exam) on a consecutive basis and within a minimum of three years.
  • A minimum work experience of four years in the field of investment decision-making.
  • Adherence to the CFA® INSTITUTE Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct.

Prerequisites in taking the CFA® Exam:
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in any field. In line of a bachelor’s degree (S1), the candidate should have at least four (4) years of relevant working experience.
  • Submission of a duly accomplished registration form to the CFA® INSTITUTE along with the exam fee
