ANALYSIS OF THE EFFECTS OF BENEFIT AND RISK FACTORS ON THE USE OF E-WALLET

The development of e-wallet in Indonesia has resulted in a variety of benefits that may encourage the users to continue using the service as well as the risks that prevent them from doing so. By developing the limitations of Benefit-Risk Framework, this study redeveloped the risk and benefit factors, which shaped the continuance intention of the users. Data were collected from online questionnaires of 203 respondents using the PLS-SEM analysis method. The study findings show that convenience has the most positive effect on the continuance intention of the users. In addition, financial risk is the factor that the users are most concerned about. However, it does not necessarily hinder their intention to continue using the e-wallet service.
