Jakarta – Our partnership with the Pusat Pelatihan Sumber Daya Manusia Ekspor dan Jasa Perdagangan (PPEJP) under the Ministry of Trade, Republic of Indonesia, provides a significant advantage to our International Business Management (IBM) students by deepening their knowledge in Market Entry Strategy and Export-Import Management.

This annual specialized training, conducted in July and August, is divided into two batches. The first batch commenced in late July, with Global Class IBM student Russell Sebastian Jesse among the chosen participants.

“As an IBM student with a focus on international business, this training gave me invaluable insights into the export industry,” Russell remarked.  

The students selected for this program go through a stringent selection process, ensuring that only the most qualified IBM students are chosen.

“I gained a thorough understanding of the export process, from market analysis and identifying buyers to marketing, navigating customs, managing payment terms, and overseeing port operations,” he added. 

At BINUS University, students benefit from learning under top faculty members, with the unique opportunity to connect theory with practical experience. This training program seamlessly blends classroom learning with hands-on field exposure, enabling students to apply real-world concepts alongside academic theories.

Dr. Scherly Hansopaheluwakan, SE, MIB, the Subject Content Coordinator for International Trade in the IBM Undergraduate Program, guided the students throughout the training. She emphasized that this training is a rare but highly valuable experience, offering students key insights from the Ministry while expanding their perspectives on global business management.
