Dr. Tom Vine Joins IBM BINUS University to Share His Expertise on Multinational Corporation Management
BINUS University’s International Business Management (IBM) program is thrilled to welcome Dr. Tom Vine from the University of Suffolk as a guest lecturer for three months. Dr. Tom Vine is an associate professor at the University of Suffolk, specializing in organizational theory with a transdisciplinary approach that integrates natural and social sciences. He holds a PhD in Management Studies from the University of Essex and is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Since joining the university in 2018, he has excelled in qualitative research methodologies, particularly ethnography and discourse analysis, and has supervised numerous PhD and MBA students. Dr. Vine has published influential works on topics such as machine consciousness and organizational sociology, and he has led management consultancy projects addressing issues like Brexit and post-pandemic recovery. An active speaker and conference organizer, he promotes collaboration across disciplines and champions inclusivity through creative assessment techniques for neurodiverse learners. Dr. Vine’s first month focuses on teaching foundational topics in multinational corporation management to undergraduate and graduate students.
