"Marketing has a deeper strategy than I thought, from starting to study consumers to create suitable products, finance to find out the cost of production that will affect sales and be able to see the root of a problem." Melianiarni Fitri is the Head of Communication at the Institut Francais Indonesia, an Indonesian and French cultural institution. She felt that she needed to keep up with marketing science, because many subjects in the class were interconnected with her current responsibility. She previously had background in marketing communication and culture. Melianiarni joined the class of September 2019.

"Marketing isn't only taking care of campaigns, advertisements, marketing is like the whole company running by itself because we have  not only to understand consumers, we also need to care about the finances, the forecast, and when talking about sales, marketing means that everybody must be involved. " Alim Chandra decided to take master degree because he wanted to study marketing to support the work he was working on. With a background in design and marketing he felt Creative Marketing was a suitable course for him. He felt many subjects in class was relevant with his work and expected that the experience and knowledge that he got would help him growing his work. Alim joined the class of November 2018.

"I think everyone can be a marketer, but not everyone can be a good marketer because they must have qualified skills, extensive knowledge, and a lot of experience. " Dikta Pradika felt that the Bachelor degree was not enough for the quality of his work. So he took a Master degree to complement his experience and knowledge. He chose creative marketing because in digital era and  globalization, creative marketing is increasingly needed by everyone and  business. And what is mostly needed to survive in creative marketing is the analytical thinking. Dikta joined the class of November 2017 and  justt graduated  on December 2019.

"I am now more open-minded about consumers and able to see more value of understanding consumers.  At first I thought  marketing was more towards the brand, but behind that, the meaning of marketing is actually how we understand what consumers want." Muhammad Revy Saladdin ,who has a background in digital design and has his own agency, was aware of his limitations about marketing mindset. He finally chose to continue the master's degree on creative marketing, because many subjects of creative marketing were relevant with his work and to make good advertising requires  good understanding of marketing  knowledge. Revy joined the class of November 2019.

"At the first time, I think marketing was about sales. But, it turns out it is more than that.  We have to see how our consumers are doing, what our branding is like, and now I know that when a brand can be seen by consumers, there are many processes to be gone through." Adinda Melodie Bestari is a housewife who wants to return to work.  She wanted to improve her knowledge and experience by continuing master's degrees. And because marketing is needed in business, she chose creative marketing as her major. She has to learn how to do good research and effective branding to the needs of consumers. By studying marketing, you know what  type of solutions that are most effective to convey to consumers. Melodie joined the class of September 2019.
