Jakarta, November 2024 – Gaby Patricia, a multi-talented Business Management & Marketing (BMM) student from Binusian 2027, continues to make waves on and off campus. After being crowned Binus Career Ambassador 2024 in October, she has now claimed two prestigious titles: Miss Chinese Indonesia Best Personality 2024 and Miss Chinese Indonesia Best Performance 2024.

The national pageant, which ran its quarantine phase from November 16 to 22, culminated in a dazzling Grand Final on November 21 featuring 30 accomplished finalists from across the country.

A Stage for Talent, Passion, and Perseverance

Gaby captivated the audience during the talent segment by performing “Dreams”, a single from her fifth album. Despite being new to the pageant world, she brought authenticity and passion to the stage.

“I didn’t come in with too many expectations—this is my first national pageant,” she shared. “But after winning Binus Career Ambassador, I felt ready to explore something new.”

From dance routines to theatrical performances, the competition highlighted diverse talents. Gaby’s performance stood out not just for its musicality, but for the heart and story behind it.

Beyond the stage, Gaby lives by a philosophy of balancing “Brain, Beauty, and Behavior.”

“I’m passionate about non-academic achievements too,” she said. “It’s not just about intelligence or appearance—it’s about how you carry yourself and what you give back to the world.”

Juggling Ambitions and Representing with Purpose

In addition to her academic pursuits, Gaby is also active as an MC, regularly representing Binus University at events such as the Global Hiring Company Forum. She has also appeared at high-profile cultural events, including Miss Tourism 2025 and Lunar New Year celebrations, as part of her role in the Miss Chinese Indonesia community.

Looking ahead, her focus remains grounded:

“Right now, I’m prioritizing completing my double degrees. But I’m always open to new opportunities that align with my personal and professional growth.”

An Uplifting Message for the Next Generation

Gaby hopes her journey can inspire others to step outside their comfort zones and take chances. “Dare to try new things and never fear failure,” she says. “If you stumble, don’t be afraid to try again—rise up and keep pushing forward until you succeed.” Her words echo a deeper belief: that growth doesn’t come from always getting it right—it comes from resilience, persistence, and the courage to start again.
