International Community Service (PkM) at the Dynamic Boxpack Sdn. Bhd.,

During the BDPR activity in Malaysia, in collaboration with the Graduate School of Business, Universiti Sains Malaysia, an International Community Service (PkM) event also took place at the Dynamic Boxpack Sdn. Bhd.,. The international community service (PkM) conducted at Dynamic Boxpack Sdn. Bhd., located in Sungai Jawi, Penang, was done on Friday, 25th of October 2024. The DRM team was accompanied by Dr. Yuvaraj Ganesan and Dr. Sima Ahmedpour from the Graduate School of Business, Universiti Sains Malaysia. Additionally, two faculty members from other programs participated: Dr. Anderes Gui from the School of Information Systems and Dr. Henkie Ongowarsito from BINUS Business School Semarang.

Activity Overview

The event began with a factory tour to understand the company’s production processes, explained by Dr. Karthigesu, the owner and director of Dynamic Boxpack. Following the tour, a detailed discussion was held regarding the company’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and challenges. These discussions built upon preliminary information shared by Dr. Karthigesu during a pre-visit meeting. Due to limited equipment at the facility, the consultation sessions were delivered verbally and conducted in a brainstorming format.

Business Consulting Topics

The consulting session focused on three main topics:

• Digital Transformation in Business
  Presented by Dr. Arta Moro Sundjaja, Dr. Rano Kartono Rahim, and Dr. Henkie Ongowarsito.

• Business Sustainability
  Presented by Prof. Dr. Idris Gautama So, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Hamsal, and Dr. Sri Bramantoro Abdinagoro.

• Financial Planning and Performance
  Presented by Dr. Evelyn Hendriana and Dr. Anderes Gui.

The international PkM event concluded with a token of appreciation from BINUS Business School and certificates presented to the business consultation panelists by the director of Dynamic Boxpack.
