“Effective Leadership through Pop Culture – Harry Potter and Beyond” with Professor Aditya Simha
On the 19th of November 2024, DRM was delighted to have Professor Aditya Simha virtually attending the Power Lecture Session designed for Doctoral Students to gain further knowledge and have interactive discussion.
Professor Simha is a respected Professor of Management at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, with a Ph.D from Washington State University. His research spans critical topics such as business ethics, healthcare ethics, leadership, and organizational behavior, with over 70 publications in prestigious journals, including the Journal of Business Ethics and Academy of Management Perspectives. Additionally, he’s renowned for blending leadership insights with pop culture, authoring works that explore leadership lessons through the lens of the Harry Potter series.
Presentation Overview
Professor Simha’s presentation revolved around the innovative connection between pop culture and leadership, with Harry Potter serving as an accessible model to explore complex leadership theories.
