From September 2-4, 2024, Prof. Hasnah Haron of Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) visited BINUS Business School in a pivotal move to strengthen the institutions’ existing partnership and explore new opportunities for collaboration. This visit marked a significant step in enhancing joint efforts in research, community service, and academic exchange between the two institutions.
Research Forum on Ethics and Sustainability
One of the key events during Prof. Hasnah’s visit was the research forum held on September 3rd, 2024, which focused on ethics and sustainability—shared areas of interest between USIM and BINUS Business School. Prof. Hasnah delivered a keynote presentation exploring the intersection of ethics and sustainability in contemporary research, providing valuable insights from a Malaysian perspective and showcasing ongoing research at USIM.

During the visit, Prof. Hasnah also met with representatives from the Pusat Promosi dan Sertifikasi Hasil Pertanian (PPSHP) of DKI Jakarta Province. In the afternoon, Prof. Hasnah led an engaging session focusing on the ethical considerations and business practices within the Malaysian flower industry.
