BINUS’s Doctor of Research in Management [program] isn’t trying to achieve a certain quantity [of students], but also the QUALITY
Dr. Mts. Arief, MBA, CPM, the Program Explanation of Content Expert DRM, said, “BINUS’s Doctor of Research in Management [program] isn’t trying to achieve a certain quantity [of students], but also the quality.” He explained that during an Info Session Program [for] Doctor of Research in Management Scholar Track (year 4 – 3rd intake) that was held on Wednesday, September 25th 2013 at the Lounge Room, 8th floor, BINUS UNIVERSITY’s Anggrek campus.
The interactive dialogue event discussed about the concept, strategy, innovation and optimism at the Doctor of Research in Management BINUS in achieving its goal: to become one of the BEST Doctorate Programs in Indonesia.
It is very possible for the program to achieve such goal considering its current development. At first, the Program Doctor of Research in Management Scholar Track was designed for academists and researchers. But over time, the program has gotten more interested people, those who were already enrolled in BINUS and the general public. Seeing the positive potential, BINUS opened the Doctor of Research in Management Scholar Track Program for public.
Based on the teaching method, the program will be suited for those who work as academists and researchers. However, BINUS now has adapted the teaching method so it is suited for the general public, and offers three majors: Entrepreneurship & Innovation, Business Information Systems Management and Marketing Science & Analytics.
Arief optimistically added that it was related to the positive image of the education quality at BINUS University, perceived by the general public. It isn’t a wonder then the program, despite it was still in a process to receive accreditation, received a lot of attention from people who were mostly CEOs from different national and multinational companies.
However, considering the Doctor of Research in Management program is trying to educate the people of this country, BINUS also provides scholarships for those who are qualified. (Karunia Fransiska)
