If you’re looking for a way to present the headlines from other websites on the same page, RSS or very simple syndication (RSS) is the answer. RSS also enables customers to obtain updated material on the website in standard and computer forms that can be read. To make it easier for news publishers, Dave Winner, chairman of Userland Software, made RSS changes that were included in the RSS specification. This was done because the original RSS specifications were too complicated for Dave Winner, and he wanted a more straightforward RSS specification. With the advent of RSS feeds, subscribers to websites and blogs no longer have to manually visit each one in order to stay up-to-date on changes to their content.
