A contact smart card in e-Payment

Making transactions  in  an  e-commerce    today  often    uses  electronic  payments  or  e-payments. E-payment  is a type of  payment  that   uses Information and Communication Technology(ICT)  and e-payment  itself  has facilitated business  processes  by  reducing  transaction  costs  and  labor or labor    costs.    Working  in  a process that is more  environmentally  friendly  and    saves  more time than  doing  transactions  manually,   it  helps  the  company  or  organization to expand.   market reach.  Some  types of  e-payment  are  micropayments, e-wallets, e-cash, e-check, first virtual smartcard-based e-payment. Then  there is the newly  developed e-payment  system that  is  into electronic  money  or  e-money,  where the payer system an is not  in the amount of  balance  from the owner is  the  same.  It is like owning   cash  but the value of the  money has been  converted    into  electronic form.  Smart card  is a  physical  card  that  has a chip that is embedded  and  useful as a sign of security,smart cards themselves are usually  the same    size as a SIM  or credit card and can be used  as a security card.     It is made  of  PVC,  ABC  or  polycarbonate  material so that it is more  durable  and  stronger. These smart cards   are connected     to the  reader either through direct  contact known  as chips and   dip  or  can be  through  connectivity  standards  such as  radio-frequency identification. (RFID) or  near-field communication (NFC). Smart cards  can  provide  identification,  authentication, data storage,  as well as  application processing.  In  addition,smart cards  can also  provide   strong  security  authentication  for  single sign-on (SSO)  in  large organizations.  Howmany  types of smart cards  are contact smart cards,  contactless smart  cards,and  dual-interface cards. Contact smart card is usually  found  in credit cards,contactless smart cards  conanyway,  namely the use of  e-money  cards such as  flazz,  brizzi,and  others that are  quite close to  the  machine. Reader. Then  there is a dual-interface  card  or can be referred to  as a hybridcard  that can be  both  (contact and contactless). The benefits  of  using  smart cards   in  e-payment  are, to provide a sense of security and comfortin financial-related activities,    easier  to  carry  and  use,  and  securely    and  It is easier to store  personal information  data  rather than  having to fill out  forms,  facilitate the process  of transasksi  payern  and  others.
