Further of active RFID card

There are two distinct kinds of active RFID cards:
Transponders
Reader (such as a passive device) sends signal initially; active transponder sends a signal back with the information. Using transponder tags saves battery life when the tag is not within the reader’s reach. On the payment system at the toll road gate, a frequent illustration of this method can be found. The reading device at the gate will transmit a signal to wake up the transponder on the windshield when the automobile enters the exit. When the transponder is activated, it will transmit the vehicle’s unique identifier.
Beacon
A real-time location system (RTLS) is a system that uses this form of beacon to instantly identify an object’s position. At regular intervals, beacons send out data signals that include information. The amount of time it takes for a signal to be sent depends on the relevance of the asset’s location. Using at least three reader devices, the beacon’s signal is detected.
