Potential candidate the company’s looking for are, having a courage, caring and curiosity, fit with the organizational culture which have ability to complement the team, be able to solve the problem, giving the feedback when there’s a meeting, and be able to lead others. Leadership is not only about hiring, it includes onboarding, ongoing, and performance assessment. Onboarding requires an expectation of performance, culture and personal behaviors. For example, for a first time leader must be trained to develop skills. However ongoing leadership should have more experience to think, act and lead. Leaders must be role model as they look; those have curiosity courage and caring and empower their teams to achieve organizational goals.
