LinkedIn As A Media Platform For Recruitment

The article I chose through Business Digest is titled “Recruitment Trends in France According to LinkedIn”. Last Wednesday, Miss Rani and Melly as a speaker from Vidio company came to Binus to talked about internship and how the Vidio company recruit their candidate. In general, recruitment process starts from sourcing, interview, until the candidate officially on board or active to work in jobsite. One thing that we should know is, if we want to apply the résumé, then it doesn’t have to be long description, but it has to include soft skills and hard skills. In the Vidio company’s recruitment process, recruiters only have 30 seconds to read each résumé so it doesn’t waste much time. Technically, in this new era, to all the candidates that want to apply job in company they should have at least LinkedIn so it could be easy for recruiters to detect their candidates’ profile. As written in article, LinkedIn has analyzed thousands of data streams to give an overview of the major recruitment trends in France for 2018. Recruiters are going for creative profiles with entrepreneurial mindsets and the ability to acquire new skills on an ongoing basis. Work history or business experience is equally important when you intend to sell your skills or experience. LinkedIn makes it easy to connect with people and things that are important to your professional life.
