WEF White Paper Technology Innovation Future Of Production
Business intelligence (BI) comprises the strategies and technologies used by enterprises for the data analysis of business information. Business intelligence technologies provide historical, current, and predictive views of business operations, then the use of the Industrial Revolution Technology is to blur the lines between the physical, digital and biological scope of the global production system. Then technological developments are currently being made major changes in the way people live and work. This goal has an impact on all scientific, economic and industrial disciplines, perhaps no more than production, where individuals produce and provide products and services.
The World Economic Forum introduces the System Initiative on Shaping the Future Production, to understand how technology is related disrupt the production system and to find the best way with the aim to find something that will later the sustainability of work and innovation nation’s capacity. The process of developing insights Technology for Production Foresight Series followed a rigorous three-step approach:
- Mapping a comprehensive technology radar impacting one or more aspects of global production systems.
- Delineating the current state of each technology to distinguish between excessive promotion and reality, and to determine their potential development in the near future.
- Focusing on the converging impact of the technologies: first, by understanding the connections between technologies and how they converge or compete in solving firm and societal problems.
Technology and Innovation for the Future Production will focus on technologies that, both individually and in combination with this, in order to remake the way we make things. It will assess the progress of this technology and develop it with innovative and unique insights and tools to help governments and companies better question the future and future of changing technology, providing information, investing and maintaining mutual agreement among stakeholders.
