The global business landscape is experiencing historic disruption driven by rapid technological change, climate challenges, geopolitical tensions, and economic uncertainty. Events such as the COVID-19 pandemic, accelerated digital transformation, and intensifying environmental pressures have reshaped the way organizations operate and compete. This disruption has highlighted the urgent need for businesses, institutions, and societies to develop resilient ecosystems capable of adapting, recovering, and thriving in times of uncertainty.
In this evolving context, the concept of business ecosystem resilience has gained increasing importance across disciplines such as strategy, entrepreneurship, innovation management, and sustainability studies. Organizations no longer operate in isolation; instead, they are embedded in complex networks involving governments, communities, digital platforms, startups, and global supply chains. Building resilience within these interconnected systems requires the integration of innovation capabilities, digital transformation, and sustainable practices.
Recent advances in digital technologies, including Artificial Intelligence, Big Data Analytics, and the Internet of Things, are transforming how organizations create value, collaborate, and respond to shocks. At the same time, global frameworks such as the UN Sustainable Development Goals have reinforced the need for businesses to align economic growth with social inclusion and environmental stewardship.
Based on this background, the 3rd International Conference on Sustainable Business and Entrepreneurship (ICOSBE) 2026, themed “Resilient Business Ecosystems: Innovation, Digitalization, and Sustainability in Uncertain Times,” aims to provide a global platform for academics, practitioners, policymakers, and industry leaders to exchange ideas and research insights on how innovation, digitalization, and sustainability can strengthen the resilience of business ecosystems. The conference fosters interdisciplinary dialogue and collaborative exploration of strategies that enable organizations and entrepreneurial ventures to navigate uncertainty while contributing to inclusive and sustainable economic development.
Sincerely,
ICOSBE 2026 Organizing Committee
