Held at the BINUS International JWC Campus, the event brought together student teams who presented solutions designed not just for business success, but also for positive societal impact\u2014especially in alignment with the UN\u2019s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-473\" src=\"http:\/\/bbs.binus.ac.id\/master-program\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/23\/2025\/09\/Picture2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1379\" height=\"781\" \/>Turning Ideas into Impact<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">In the spirit of <em>design thinking<\/em>, the students used empathy-driven approaches to identify real-world problems and develop human-centered business ideas to solve them. This year\u2019s showcase featured a wide range of innovations\u2014from healthy food catering and financial wellness apps to fitness and diet tracking platforms. Each project was carefully crafted to meet specific needs of target communities, ensuring both practicality and sustainability.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>Pitching for Purpose<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Students had the opportunity to pitch their ideas in front of a panel of expert judges. All teams delivered commendable presentations, \u00a0and three teams were selected as top winners:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<li>\ud83e\udd49 <strong>3rd Place<\/strong>: <em>Gerak<\/em> \u2013 an initiative app promoting movement and active lifestyles<\/li>\n<li>\ud83e\udd48 <strong>2nd Place<\/strong>: <em>Menu Sehat<\/em> \u2013 a healthy meal catering solution<\/li>\n<li>\ud83e\udd47 <strong>1st Place<\/strong>: <em>Nutri Alert<\/em> \u2013 a health-based app that helps users track nutritional content of products and ensure they&#8217;re registered and halal-certified<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\u201cNutri Alert helps people check nutritional content of food products and see whether they\u2019re legally registered with BPOM and certified halal by MUI,\u201d said <strong>Rian Eka Prasetya<\/strong>, representative of the winning team. \u201cIt\u2019s about helping Indonesians make healthier, safer food choices.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-475\" src=\"http:\/\/bbs.binus.ac.id\/master-program\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/23\/2025\/09\/Picture4.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"735\" height=\"417\" \/>What the Judges Looked For<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">According to the judging panel, standout projects demonstrated a clear process of identifying real problems through situational analysis and empathy. Key evaluation points included:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<li>Clarity in identifying and analyzing social or user problems<\/li>\n<li>Originality and relevance of the proposed solution<\/li>\n<li>Feasibility and implementation of the solution as a tangible product or service<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>Innovation with a Purpose<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The Design Thinking Showcase is more than a competition\u2014it\u2019s a testament to how innovation, when guided by empathy and purpose, can drive meaningful change.
