Quality education is a key issue that requires proper education, and this can largely influence the future generation. The pandemic imposes more workloads and expectations on educators in Indonesia, which leads to the increased prevalence of depression, stress, and anxiety. This study will examine the connection between smart technologies (artificial intelligence, robotics, and algorithms or STARA) as educators and the influence of these conditions on their well-being and workplace performance. In this study, information was gathered using an online survey of 224 educators in Indonesia between May and June 2025. It was analyzed using PLS-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SMART-PLS. The results of this study demonstrate that there is a strong correlation between all the variables studied, and the p-values are less than 0.05. Since mental health problems, STARA, and employee well-being have a significant impact on the performance of employees, the educational institution must introduce methods of harmonizing the application of STARA and attempt to preserve the mental health of educators to increase employee well-being and, consequently, worker performance on the job. © 2026 IEEE.
