Utami<\/p>\n<p>           If small enterprises have the willingness and creativity to absorb and adjust relevant aspects of talent management, applying it might be a considerable startegy to shine in the competition, even with the big ones. Talents are significant, not only to larger enterprises, but also to small enterprises. However, people often argue whether talents are even attracted to join small enterprises.<br \/>\n            Talent is defined as people who can contribute in improving organizational performance either short-term or long-term. Talents often have high willingness to win over the challenges in helping the enterprise grow. In this case, small enterprises can give more opportunity for them to participate in shaping its future within the industry. Moreover, small enterprise offers more flexibility and entrepreneurial spirit.<br \/>\n            For instance, meeting schedule can be adjusted more easily since the employees are not as many as big enterprises. But, this is a potential harm as well. When the management is not effective and unable to trigger the awareness to be responsible, the employees might often skip meetings with sudden or no prior notice. In conclusion, they are not doing their works professionally.<br \/>\n            This is where the talent management highlights its importance in small business. The potential chaos in shaping good work commitment caused by lack of bureaucracy and formality can be reduced. Small enterprises need to effectively manage their human capital to prevent chaotic randomness, by integrating its human resource functions in one concept called talent management. It reduces the chance of having fragmented initiative.<br \/>\n            As we know, this provides the enterprises with framework of assisting and nurturing the employees from &#8216;pre-hire&#8217; to &#8216;retire&#8217;. The cost needed to invest on talent mamagement is arguably high, especially the softwares. However, small enterprises can still adopt it by applying the steps themselves since the data that should be processed is not much. In addition, there are some consulting companies specified for small enterprises, meaning more affordable cost to consult.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Author : Belinda Debora, AF.
