With\u00a0 the high\u00a0 level of dependence\u00a0 that leads to\u00a0 technological\u00a0 advances\u00a0 increasingly\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 in\u00a0 various \u00a0fields,one of\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 which is in the field\u00a0 of\u00a0 payment. Today\u00a0 the\u00a0 majority of the world&#8217;s\u00a0 people use\u00a0 e-Payment\u00a0 as\u00a0 their payment\u00a0 method.\u00a0 E-Payment\u00a0 is a\u00a0 payment\u00a0 mechanism\u00a0 that\u00a0 uses electronic\u00a0 media\u00a0\u00a0 that\u00a0 does not\u00a0 involve conventional money.\u00a0 Transactions\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 using\u00a0 e-Payment are\u00a0 often referred to\u00a0 as cash less transactions. \u00a0Currently \u00a0\u00a0cash less transactions \u00a0that are \u00a0often \u00a0encountered \u00a0by the people of \u00a0Indonesia \u00a0is by using \u00a0a Smart Card. \u00a0Conventional smart cards \u00a0are \u00a0about \u00a0two \u00a0decades \u00a0old \u00a0and are spread \u00a0beyond \u00a0Europe \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0and Asia. Smart cards \u00a0can be \u00a0used \u00a0to \u00a0purchase \u00a0goods \u00a0and \u00a0services. Smart cards \u00a0were invented \u00a0in \u00a0\u00a0\u00a01972 by Ronald Moreno in \u00a0France. Now \u00a0smart cars are \u00a0designed \u00a0to \u00a0provide \u00a0and \u00a0record \u00a0information \u00a0regarding \u00a0users \u00a0and \u00a0accounts \u00a0of \u00a0users.<\/p>\n<p>The use of Smart Card\u00a0 as an e-Payment payment method can be seen in various applications, including in the field of education. Smart cards are used by universities to connect students with campuses with student personalization such as grades, fees, libraries, etc. By using a smart card in which there is also RFID can be used as a method of absence. In transportation and transit, using smart cards can create security and convenience in buying tickets and other payment methods used on public transportation. Companies \u00a0can \u00a0take advantage of the use of Smart Cards \u00a0for their database\u00a0 purposes. \u00a0In \u00a0the \u00a0smart card there is \u00a0information \u00a0about \u00a0the customer, date, and \u00a0as a result \u00a0that\u00a0 the company can \u00a0use \u00a0for \u00a0their \u00a0ownbenefit. \u00a0\u00a0Examples \u00a0are \u00a0what \u00a0products \u00a0are \u00a0often \u00a0purchased \u00a0by \u00a0a \u00a0customer, customers \u00a0often \u00a0come \u00a0on\u00a0 what day, and others. For \u00a0that \u00a0managers \u00a0or \u00a0companies need \u00a0\u00a0tomart \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0their \u00a0markets and \u00a0products \u00a0to \u00a0find the best \u00a0strategy\u00a0 in \u00a0using smart cards \u00a0or \u00a0electronic cards.\u00a0 Managers need to ask themselves a lot of questions. Does our current payment handling system provide the level of service our customers expect? Is the electronic card payment industry heading in the direction that best suits our business? Otherwise, should we engage in standardization efforts to ensure our interests are taken care of? Is it beneficial to implement our own electronic payment system before multifunctional cards are widely accepted? If we develop our own electronic payment handling system, do we comply with development standards?
