In fact, research at Bentley University analyzing 24.5 million job postings \u00a0that \u201c71 percent of in-demand skills are required across two or more job categories.\u201dDigital skills go mainstream and continue to evolves<\/p>\n<p>There are so many reasons for today\u2019s increasing demand for cross functional skills. As demand for previously popular jobs declines, the skills involved become mainstream as well as integrated into other position. And the speed at which digital technologies evolve have accelerated this process. Meanwhile, Social Media is a rapidly evolving field, which means to stay current, we need to continually update our skills. Many industries now need their talents to able to compile, analyse, and implement big data. However, they need you at the same time to able to communicate\/understanding what the data means and apply it to the company long-term strategy. Across the board, digital skills, that require constant updating to stay current, are becoming increasingly integrated into traditional functions.
