{"id":2191,"date":"2020-03-06T12:16:45","date_gmt":"2020-03-06T05:16:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/bbs.binus.ac.id\/management\/?p=2191"},"modified":"2020-03-20T12:22:15","modified_gmt":"2020-03-20T05:22:15","slug":"im-microsofts-head-of-talent-heres-how-to-get-hired","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bbs.binus.ac.id\/management\/2020\/03\/im-microsofts-head-of-talent-heres-how-to-get-hired\/","title":{"rendered":"Im Microsofts Head Of Talent Heres How To Get Hired"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The move toward emotional intelligence has seeped into Microsoft\u2019s recruiting and hiring practices, too, according to Chuck Edward, Microsoft\u2019s head of global talent acquisition. \u201cThere\u2019s been an extra emphasis on transforming our workforce over the last three to five years, given the company\u2019s transformation,\u201d he says. \u201cAnd there\u2019s no better way to bring fresh new ideas and skills into the company: Our leaders and hiring managers are hungry to bring in talent.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In addition to resumes coming in to be considered, Edward says there are hundreds of recruiters all over the world mining data, particularly through LinkedIn, which the company recently acquired. \u201cThere\u2019s a lot of talk in the industry about AI and bots, but I don\u2019t see them replacing recruiters anytime soon,\u201d Edward contends, and Microsoft\u2019s human recruiters are doing the heavy lifting using LinkedIn and other tools as a primary way to find talented people with the skills they\u2019re looking to add\u2013who may not even be actively seeking a new job.
