Pelanggan sosial (kadang-kadang disebut pelanggan digital) biasanya anggota jaringan sosial yang berbagi pendapat tentang produk, layanan, dan vendor, melakukan belanja sosial online dan memahami hak-hak mereka dan bagaimana menggunakan kebijaksanaan dan kekuatan komunitas sosial untuk keuntungan mereka.
