Abstract. This systematic literature review (117 of 1,909 Scopus articles,

screened via Rayyan AI) advances resilience research by identifying core com-

petencies that build adaptable employees and teams. Post-COVID-19, resilience

is increasingly viewed not as a fixed trait, but as a dynamic, teachable construct

comprising motives, traits, self-concept, knowledge, and skills. Thematic analysis

reveals that knowledge acquisition, leadership, social support, and cohesion are the

most prominent drivers of resilience, underscoring the vital role of interpersonal

relationships, role clarity, and psychological safety during crises. Ultimately, by

defining resilience as a cultivable individual and collective capability, this study

provides actionable insights for HR management, leadership development, and

organizational adaptability in volatile environments.
