Like the times, the payment system we use is also experiencing development and change. Progressive developments in mobile communication technology have led to the development of m-payment services that meet the needs of both individuals and organizations. The use of m-payment has increased in recent times. M-payment services have become the consumer payment option of choice resulting in a significant increase in the volume of financial transactions. Currently, payment applications are used for several types of payments because it is quite easy to use so many are switching to m-payment. Worldwide, more than a quarter of consumers indicate that they are very likely to use bank services using only their mobile devices. In fact,38 percent of consumers worldwide have purchased a product or service using a mobile app, 47 percent of consumers have made transactions on a device. their mobile (Nielsen 2016). It shows a shift from looking at the use of mobile devices to access internet-based systems to digital payments in favor of apps that replace cheques, money. cash or card as a form of payment. Nowadays we can find a lot of digital payment services around us. One of them is Google Checkout, which is an online payment system service provided by Google by offering convenience in making purchases online, which is enough to use Just our personal cell phones. Google Checkout is also known as Google Pay. Google pay can be used to make transactions such as the purchase of games, books, applications, and also the addition of other features. How does Google Pay work? Google Pay is an application that we can download and install on our phone or smartwatch that uses the Android operating system. We can use the app to send and receive money from others. Once we download the app, we have to register a credit or debit card to Google Pay in a fairly easy way quite easily. In the Google Pay application, we simply open the link “add credit or debit card” and we have to upload a photo of the registered credit or debit card. The app will list your credit card number, expiration date, and any other details it needs. Once we’ve entered the card details, we need to verify. Verification methods can be done in several ways, including by asking for a verification code sent by email or SMS and then entering the code. to the GooglePay application, by contacting the bank or credit card issuer to get a verification code, or it can also be through the m-banking application. Once the card is verified, the payment will go to Google Pay. If your phone has Play Protect certification and has NFC enabled, you can use your phone to make payments at a physical store that accepts Google Wallet or Pay by gluing your phone with a payment scan in the state of our phone is not locked.
