The session explored Indonesia\u2019s rapidly evolving sustainability landscape and how the country is aligning its industries with the global <strong data-start=\"421\" data-end=\"461\">Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\" data-start=\"464\" data-end=\"1052\">Drawing on Indonesia\u2019s diverse industrial environment, Dr. Ami introduced key sustainability concepts including the <strong data-start=\"580\" data-end=\"627\">Triple Bottom Line (People, Planet, Profit)<\/strong>, life-cycle thinking, and the transition from <strong data-start=\"674\" data-end=\"706\">Industry 4.0 to Industry 5.0<\/strong>, where businesses are expected not only to be technologically advanced but also socially and environmentally responsible. Students examined national sustainability drivers\u2014such as the SDGs Roadmap, carbon tax initiatives, and responsible production policies\u2014and how these influence product development and innovation across sectorsin Indonesia.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\" data-start=\"1054\" data-end=\"1549\">Participants engaged in a comparative exercise, analyzing how Indonesian sustainability strategies align with similar efforts in Australia, and discussing the potential for Indonesian sustainability-oriented products to enter the Australian market. Core SDG themes such as <strong data-start=\"1327\" data-end=\"1378\">Responsible Consumption and Production (SDG 12)<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"1380\" data-end=\"1407\">Climate Action (SDG 13)<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"1409\" data-end=\"1458\">Industry, Innovation &amp; Infrastructure (SDG 9)<\/strong>, and <strong data-start=\"1464\" data-end=\"1503\">Partnerships for the Goals (SDG 17)<\/strong> guided the discussion throughout the session.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\" data-start=\"1551\" data-end=\"1815\">Overall, the lecture provided a comprehensive look at how sustainability, innovation, and cultural values intersect within Indonesia\u2019s business landscape\u2014while strengthening academic collaboration between BINUS Business School and the University of Sydney.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>November 2025, students from the University of Sydney joined a special Guest Lecture hosted by Dr. Ami Fitri Utami, Head of the International Business Program at BINUS Senayan Campus.
