Nadiem Makarim, the Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of Indonesia, delivered his opening speech during this ceremony.<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-content clear main-read the-640\">\n<p>In his opening speech, Nadiem explained the importance of Indonesian higher education institutions\u2019 participation in supporting the <em>Kampus Merdeka<\/em> and <em>Merdeka Belajar<\/em> programs.
