Associate Professor Tom Vine

Tom was recruited by Suffolk Business School in January 2012.  In addition to his lecturing, supervision and research responsibilities, Tom currently leads the Suffolk Business School Doctoral Programme.Following his first two degrees at the University of Warwick (BSc Management Sciences; MA Organization Studies), Tom moved to London in 2001 to pursue a career in consultancy. With a keen interest in politics and psephology, he was fortunate enough to find work at the Electoral Reform Services.  He worked full time for the company for six years, during which time he gained a range of managerial, supply chain and strategic competences.  He was promoted in 2003 to manage a team of project managers and was by this stage responsible for the delivery of several multimillion pound projects in both private and public sectors.  He continues to work for the company in a consultancy capacity.  In 2007, Tom began his PhD at the University of Essex under the supervision of Professors Chris Land and Harro Höpfl.  His doctoral research used the immersive methods of organizational anthropology to study unconventional work practices at a large intentional community (commune) in Scotland.

 

Dr. Fandy Tjitono

Dr. Fandy Tjiptono is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Marketing and International Business, Victoria University of Wellington (VUW). Before joining VUW, he worked at Monash University Malaysia and Universitas Atma Jaya Yogyakarta (Indonesia). He has more than 23 years of marketing teaching experience at both undergraduate and graduate levels at several universities in Indonesia, Australia, and Malaysia.His main research interest is consumer behavior and marketing practices in Southeast Asia, especially in Indonesia. His work has been published in respected journals in marketing including Journal of Business Ethics, Marketing Intelligence and Planning, International Journal of Consumer Studies, Internet Research, Social Responsibility Journal, Young Consumers, Journal of Promotion Management, and Asia Pacific Journal of Marketing and Logistics. He has also published several best-selling marketing and management textbooks and reference books in Bahasa Indonesia, some have been widely adopted and cited in Indonesia.
His more than 12 years of consulting experience covers a wide range of industries, such as FMCG, publishing, telecommunication, and banking. During his academic career, he has served in various leadership and administrative roles at the university, faculty and department levels.

Dr. Madeleine Mansfield
Dr Madeleine Mansfield is Conjoint Senior Lecturer at Newcastle Business School, The University of Newcastle, Australia. Her research background is in the areas of entrepreneurship and enterprise development.  She gained her PhD at Manchester Metropolitan University in 2014 in the area of decision making in start-up businesses. She has significant experience in leading curriculum development, quality enhancement and student centred learning approaches, recognised by her Senior HEA Fellowship. Commercially, Madeleine works with a range of organisations – from HEIs to start-ups – helping to develop and execute their strategic vision.

 

Bisma Dewabrata, CFA, PRM, CAIA
Mr. Dewabrata is a passionate equity investment management professional with more than 20 years of experience in portfolio management, research, trading, valuation, financial model and analysis, risk management, product development, and business strategy in the US and Indonesia.

 

 

Rahmat Sugiono Halim, CFA, FRM
Mr. Halim is an experienced Investment Coordinator with a demonstrated history of working in the Investment Management industry. Skilled in Operations Management, Mutual Funds, Fundamental Analysis, Investment Management, and Financial Analysis. Strong finance professional with a Bachelor of science focused in Management from Purdue University.

Passed OJK (Indonesia Financial Authority) Fit & Proper Test for a brief stint in 2016 as Asset Management’s Commissioner. Also passed OJK Fit & Proper Test for Securities Brokerage’s Commissioner position in 2017.

 

Dr. Dionisius A. Narjoko
Dionisius Narjoko received his PhD in Economics from the Australian National University. His dissertation was awarded The Ann Bates Postgraduate Prize for Indonesian Studies 2006. His research covers industrialisation in Indonesia and Southeast Asia, economic integration in ASEAN and East Asia (focusing on ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) Blueprint and regional economy architecture), and topics in economic development, such as small and medium enterprises, and interrelationship between human capital and economic growth.

As part of his role in ERIA, Dr Narjoko provides evidence-based policy recommendations to a number of ASEAN Member States on topics related to AEC or regional integration in general. Dr Narjoko is also active in ‘second-track’ policy discussion for various topics, extending the link from his previous affiliation with the Jakarta-based think-tank Centre for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS). Dr Narjoko also once taught at the Faculty of Economics, University of Indonesia. He co-authored and co-edited books and published book chapters, policy papers, and articles in peer-reviewed journals in the past ten years. He also serves as Associate Editor of Asian Economic Journal and Jurnal Ekonomi Pembangunan Indonesia.
