Dr. Tom Vine is an accomplished associate professor at the University of Suffolk, specializing in organizational theory with a transdisciplinary approach that bridges natural and social sciences. Holding a PhD in Management Studies from the University of Essex and recognized as a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, he has <\/span>demonstrated<\/span> expertise<\/span> in qualitative methodologies like ethnography and discourse analysis, which inform his innovative approaches to teaching and research. Since his appointment in 2018, he has made significant contributions to academia, including supervising <\/span>numerous<\/span> PhD and MBA students, developing creative pedagogies, and publishing influential books and articles on machine consciousness, occupational change, and organizational sociology. Each session integrates theoretical frameworks with real-world applications, ensuring participants gain a holistic understanding of multinational operations.<\/span> The final session, on 5 December 2024, titled “Veblen, Bourdieu, and Conspicuous Consumption in Emerging Markets,” delves into consumer behavior in fast-growing economies.
