Tangerang, 10 December 2024<\/span><\/span><\/strong> – BINUS<\/span> University hosted a seminar titled <\/span><\/span>“Navigating Sustainability: Exploring ESG Principles for Future Leaders,”<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/em> which focused on the crucial role of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices in shaping sustainable leadership. Students from various universities, including BINUS University<\/strong>, Sampoerna University<\/strong>, and Universitas Negeri Jakarta<\/strong> attended the seminar<\/span><\/span>. <\/span>The event, held at the BINUS Alam Sutera campus, featured a distinguished lineup of speakers from HSBC Indonesia and WRI Indonesia. <\/span>The seminar aimed to <\/span>provide<\/span> valuable insights into how ESG principles are becoming essential in today’s corporate world and how future leaders can incorporate these practices into their leadership strategies.<\/span> The speakers included <\/span><\/span>Yardley Young, the Human Resource Director at PT. Bank HSBC Indonesia<\/span><\/span>, <\/span><\/span>Nuni <\/span>Sutyoko<\/span>, Senior Vice <\/span>President<\/span> and Head of Corporate Sustainability at HSBC Indonesia<\/span><\/span><\/strong>, and <\/span><\/span>Arief Wijaya, Program Director at WRI Indonesia<\/span><\/span><\/strong>. Each expert shared their perspective on how ESG practices are integrated into business operations and their importance in achieving long-term sustainability. The session began with <\/span><\/span>opening remarks<\/span><\/span><\/strong> from <\/span><\/span>Dr. Marko S. H<\/span>ermawan, CA, CPMA, ACPA, <\/span>CertDA<\/span><\/span><\/strong>, the Head of the IBM Program<\/strong>, and <\/span><\/span>Nuni <\/span>Sutyoko<\/span>, Senior Vice President & Head of Corporate Sustainability at HSBC Indonesia<\/span><\/span><\/strong>. <\/span>Their speeches set the stage for an engaging discussion on the importance of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles. The seminar officially kicked off with a keynote presentation by Yardley Young, the Human Resource Director at HSBC Indonesia, who shared valuable insights on how businesses can effectively integrate ESG practices.
