A sustainability & ESG trade specialist is responsible by integrating environmental, social, and governance principles into sourcing, production, logistics, and supply-chain decisions. They assess suppliers, evaluate carbon emissions and resource use, monitor labor and human-rights standards, and ensure that business partners comply with sustainability regulations and ethical-trade requirements.
The role also involves collecting ESG data, preparing sustainability reports, identifying trade-related risks, and developing strategies to improve the company’s environmental and social impact.
