Instructional Design for Online Learning

PROGRAM BACKGROUND

In today’s world, the position of ‘instructional designer’ has come to represent a wide array of job tasks and responsibilities.

Most often, instructional designers interview SMEs, write instructional content, create storyboards, and then develop the storyboards into interactive eLearning experiences. They may also develop job aids, facilitator guides, slide decks, and other learning deliverables.

This course covers the methodology, skills, and techniques necessary for developing effective eLearning solutions. This course provides the foundation for instructional development.

 

PROGRAM OBJECTIVES

After completing the three-day design training, the learner will be able to:

  • Analyze, design, develop, implement and evaluate their own eLearning courses
  • Design interactivity, games, and simulations for E-Learning
  • Develop the right curriculum and content according to the needs of the organization
  • Discover various application tools to support online learning
  • Demonstrate knowledge, skills, and creativity related to E-Learning instructional design

 

BRIEF PROGRAMS

Durations = 8 sessions of training. Approximately 90 minutes / Session

  • 3 days for full day (8.00 – 17.00), or
  • 6 days for half day (18.30 – 21.30), separated into 2 weeks (3 days per week)
