Jakarta, August 19, 2026 \u2014 Students from the Doctor of Management (DRM) Program at BINUS Business School conducted an industry visit to Toyota as part of a learning agenda designed to broaden their understanding of developments and trends in the automotive manufacturing industry, particularly in response to the transformation toward the electric vehicle (EV) era.<\/p>\n

The DRM BINUS Business School visit agenda gave students a direct learning experience through a factory visit, offering a closer look at automotive business and manufacturing processes amid technological developments and growing demand for more environmentally friendly vehicles.<\/p>\n

The visit provided students with an opportunity to connect academic perspectives with real-world industry practices. Through observations and presentations during the visit, students gained insights into developments in the automotive manufacturing industry, technological innovations, and various challenges and opportunities emerging alongside the growth of the electric vehicle ecosystem.<\/p>\n

One of the key highlights of the visit was an introduction to Toyota\u2019s efforts to support the development of environmentally friendly vehicles through the xEV Center. The facility was developed as both a learning platform and a center for capability development in electrification and green energy.<\/p>\n

Through the xEV Center, Toyota seeks to inspire, educate, and encourage innovation in creating more environmentally friendly vehicles in Indonesia.
