As the Founder and CEO of SBM Consulting and creator of BISAFRANCHISE.ID, Gunawan has developed systematic approaches to business scaling and franchising that have assisted countless entrepreneurs improve and expand their business. His role as Managing Director of Brincubator for Bank BRI demonstrates his leadership in one of Indonesia’s most prestigious business incubation programs, where he shapes curriculum and mentors startups toward sustainable growth.

During his career, he has received multiple national MSME awards as both entrepreneur and mentor, including 1st place at Brillianpreneur UMKM Expo 2024 and Bandung City UMKM Awards. As a Master Trainer for Sejuta Pengusaha and frequent speaker at national forums, Gunawan has influenced entrepreneurship policy and practice throughout Indonesia.
