🚚 sedia.com — A Smart, Modular, and Inclusive Logistics Ecosystem

Indonesia’s archipelagic landscape continues to create stark disparities in supply chain efficiency, especially between metropolitan areas and 3T (frontier, outermost, underdeveloped) regions.
sedia.com offers a comprehensive solution designed specifically to address this gap through a hybrid logistics infrastructure:

1️⃣ Urban Micro-Fulfillment Centers (MFCs)

Located in major cities like Jakarta, these hubs feature:

  • Goods-to-Person automation
  • Optimized space usage for high-density urban areas
  • Same-day fulfillment capabilities

2️⃣ Shared Micro-Warehouse (SMW) Modular Units for 3T Regions

Inspired by a “Lego-style” modular concept, these units emphasize:

  • Easy assembly and relocation
  • Recycled-plastic composite wall panels (HDPE/PET)
  • Offline WMS for low-connectivity areas
  • RFID/RTLS tracking systems
  • Solar-powered, energy-independent operation

3️⃣ Multi-Tenant Collaboration Model

Allowing large logistics companies and MSMEs to share facilities, reducing operational costs while expanding access to underserved regions.

The product’s modular engineering combines environmental and functional benefits:

  • Lightweight hollow composite panels for efficient transport
  • Interlocking connectors for fast installation
  • Recycled materials to reduce plastic waste
  • Solar energy integration to ensure operational independence
  • Cost-effective production tailored to rural logistics environments

This system is purpose-built to operate effectively in regions with limited infrastructure.

Team BBLIONS proposed deployment across three strategic subdistricts:

  • Suti Semarang (6 villages)
  • Tujuh Belas (18 villages)
  • Teriak (4 villages)

The selection was based on key indicators:

  • Technology penetration
  • Accessibility to main cities
  • Income distribution

These areas represent ideal starting points for bridging logistics inequality.

Their business plan outlined a full end-to-end workflow:

  1. Site surveys & feasibility studies
  2. Modular design & flat-pack fabrication
  3. Logistics & component shipping
  4. On-site assembly
  5. Operator training
  6. Installation of WMS Offline & RTLS
  7. Warehouse activation & community integration

This detailed operational design significantly strengthened the credibility and scalability of their proposal.

Team BBLIONS excelled through:

  • A strong understanding of Indonesia’s regional logistics challenges
  • A clear value proposition for both urban and remote markets
  • Sustainability-centered engineering and design
  • Outstanding pitch performance and defense

Their holistic approach and innovative thinking solidified their position as the 1st Place Winner.

Your victory marks a powerful contribution to Indonesia’s logistics innovation landscape and reflects the dedication, vision, and problem-solving excellence of BINUS University students.
