Reviewing Social Person Era

This chapter is the end of the third part which discussed about the social person era. In this chapter the discussion was reviewed in four major topics such as the economic environment, the new technologies and the seeds of change, the emergence of the social ethic and the organization man, and last is about the political environment in that era.

It was after economic crash in the end 1920s makes most of the industrial player need to recover from the devastating condition. Thus, the government are taking a role to robust the recovery. The recovery itself was slow, and people are turned to the government for relief.  When the recovery method and term are being done, most of industrial attention are focusing primarily on survival. This is why in this era around 1930s efficient industrial structure was commonly become the focuses with the high skilled and high productivity labor.

However, the new technologies comes. There was a revolution in the old economic structured which made destroyed the old economic structure with the new one. At this era, it was Orville Wright who inovated airplane , General electric who invented the firts the first recording device for the sounds and film, IBM who of course invented a compputer from its’ so “ancistors” Charles Babbage, and XEROX invented a dry copying machine. The technology are keep growing and yet it become the seeds of change. (Continued)
