The international seminar with the theme of Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s) or sustainable development program was attended by approximately 500 participants consisting of academics, representatives of government agencies, and students from various Gorontalo universities.

“If we achieve this SDG’s goal, then it can be ascertained that poverty can decline, there will be no more people who do not eat, healthy people, and more sustainable and quality development, and climate change can be overcome,” the Deputy Governor said.

Deputy Governor Idris Rahim hopes that the seminar can produce recommendations that can be implemented for the purpose of sustainable development in order to improve the welfare of the community.

SDG’s seminar featured three international speakers, namely Arnaud Amouroux, security and peace expert from France, Sanjukta Choudhury Kaul from PhD School of Business, Monash University, India, and third speaker from PUM Netherland, Andrew Bowmers. While the main speaker was Rizal Ramli, Coordinating Minister for Maritime.
