Karen Imam has been working with BINUS since 2008. Her first role at BINUS was as a lecturer of Service Marketing and Consumer Behavior to BINUS UNIVERSITY’s undergraduate students. In the following year, she started working under BINUS UNIVERSITY International and has been continuing her responsibilities as its faculty member until now. During her career at BINUS UNIVERSITY International, one of her most remarkable contributions was leading the EPAS accreditation as the project manager. This project awarded the first EPAS Accreditation for International Accounting Program in 2014. Continuing her progressive milestones, Karen was then assigned as the Head of the International Business program at Binus UNIVERSITY International in 2014. From 2015 until today, she is the Director of BINUS Global under BINUS UNIVERSITY. Her responsibility is leading the internationalization programs and initiatives to be managed by Collaboration Center, International Office, and Global Class.
Karen received her Diploma of Commercial Techniques from IUT Montpellier, France. She pursued her Bachelor degree in International Business from ESG Paris, France and graduated from her Master degree in International Business in the same institution in 2001.
Karen’s research interests are process improvement, cross-cultural management, and internationalization.
