Vision-Setting and Professional Development – Part IV

This training module will focus on vision-setting and help you develop a professional development plan.
Establishing a vision of what you want to accomplish in your career is important for several reasons. What is equally important is to have a strategy for how to fulfil your vision. That is why it is useful to have a professional development plan where you can write down your goals and what you have to do in order to progress towards the vision you have established.
The Getting started session will let you reflect on your individual expectations on this learning module and discuss with your group.

Group expectations
In the group, take turns in sharing your expectations of the training module by discussing the following questions:
 What is your experience regarding this topic? Have you ever discussed vision-setting before?
 What do you want to learn from this module?
 Are there any specific strengths or weaknesses in your life that you hope to be able to address after this session?
