LinkedIn has become a new way for companies that search for recruits, since LinkedIn can showcase personal profiles along with professional experiences. Using LinkedIn, companies can attract employees more easily.
Rio Susanto from LinkedIn shared tips about making outstanding and attractive profile that will find you a job. He recommended enclosing professional photograph on your LinkedIn profile, because a profile with professional photo gets 14 times more visits than nonformal photo or even no photo. He also suggested writing things that may attract companies’ attention, for instance description of activities, passion, as well as personal values.
He asserted furthermore, writing a personal profile should focus on a professional career that you want to have or will most likely have. It is also highly recommended to include previous experiences that are considered achievement. A profile with a list of experience is 12 times more visible than the one without list of experience. And to support all of that, it is advisable to include pictures, presentation files, or video about your previous job. That way, your professional path becomes clearly represented.
It is highly recommended too to be include expertise in your profile. With a list of expertise, other LinkedIn users can endorse your expertise in the profile. Social experience finds itself a highly considered variable too when companies look at their prospective employees’ profiles. With a social experience, a profile gets 6 times more visits than ones without social experience list.
